The Chincoteague Blueberry Festival features the largest Fine Arts and Crafts Event on the Eastern Shore of Virginia which provides a Christmas in July shopping experience for the many tourists as well as locals who occupy the island at the height of the summer vacation time.
Fresh blueberries, blueberry ice cream, the ultimate blueberry pie, old-fashioned blueberry shortcake, blueberry pancakes, muffins and more are certainly the stars of the show, but a fabulous breakfast and lunch is served as well.
