From a video/photography perspective there are many fabulous places on Assateague Island to capture and experience the beauty of pristine marsh lands, coastal forests and trails that lead to panoramic vistas and overlooks. From a video perspective the wind on Assateague Island is tough to deal with. Wind is easily picked up in the audio and it also causes camera shake when the camcorder is mounted on a tripod. Both problems must be dealt with to achieve quality footage.
