For those fortunate enough to have discovered the Eastern Shore Virginia area, it quickly becomes their favorite vacation and getaway destination. Untouched by urban sprawl and retaining its pristine natural beauty, the Eastern Shore has preserved a portion of our nation’s legacy.
While Chincoteague Island is the Vacation Mecca of the Eastern Shore, vacationers with a “home base” on Chincoteague often take day trips to the quaint towns and historic sites nearby, exploring the area and discovering some hidden vacation gems.
A main reason to go on vacation is to relax and have some fun, its quality family time, a chance to get away from the hustle and bustle of everyday life. However many people go to an overcrowded popular destination and get more hustled than they do at home. This year try something different, head down the path less traveled, find some magical places unknown to most of the world, visit the Eastern Shore Region of Virginia, you will not be disappointed.
